ScadaAce IP Gateway

TCP/IP is a protocol in common use on Ethernet data highways such as the World Wide Web and others. The Motorola ACE IP Gateway provides the connectivity between the RTUs and the SCADA Server(s) and is a key component in the ScadaAce system. The Motorola ACE IP Gateway is packaged in the small NEMA enclosure, contains a power supply/charger, battery, and communication device(s) (radio or wireline modems) according to the needs of the system. The Motorola ACE IP Gateway module has multiple communication ports including Ethernet, Serial and RF modems. The Motorola ACE IP Gateway is connected to the SCADA Servers via the built-in IP Port. The Motorola ACE IP Gateway is a gateway—a real-time protocol converter—that seamlessly connects the various communications networks and medium to the SCADA Server(s) and GUI. It does not contain a database. It is configured by simply assigning a MDLC and an IP address for their respective systems’ use. The Motorola ACE IP Gateway provides the connectivity to conventional, MotoTrbo, IV&D and data radios as well as wired networks such as LAN/WAN, dial-up and many others.
